May need a few raw cuts so the gems true brilliance can be visible

 

My words will be the magic carpet that can carry me into the sanctuary of your soul

The depth and passion I express rolling a pen over a blank page 

May one day inspire a new level of consciousness

 

Each day that goes by gives us an option to take a chance in this fascinating game of life

Opportunities arise that allow us to play an active role in creating our destiny

Some conditions materialize only for a moment

If our attention is focused in another direction

The chance encounter of a lifetime may vanish

Without the slightest knowledge of its existence

 

Later you awaken to witness a star illuminating from the heavens

One that was not there before

 

You simply appreciate it for the light that it brings

Or you can experience the delight in helping position that star in a place where it could shine to its full potential

Either way, you savor its beauty

Where this journey leads, I do not know

That fact alone will make it mysterious, as well as exciting
